a trip to the ER
we had our first visit to the ER last thursday night. carson and dada were out on a walk and carson fell off his truck onto the pavement (face first). we had a to wait for a long time in the waiting room, but little buddy did great (with the help of the movie 'cars' in jon's computer). by the time the doc saw him, it was close to 11pm. you would have never know...carson was so joyful, greeting everyone who walked by and eagerly asking for the doctor. he cried pretty loud when they were stitching him up, but as soon as they were done, he sat up and said, 'dank u docdor.' it was too precious. here are some pics of the injured boy!!!

poor little guy! he looks pretty proud of his battle scars though. :-)
praise God and Cars for keeping his mind off it. maybe God created such a love in his little heart for McQueen just for times like that. :-P
Seems like every kid splits open that part of their chin. One of my daughters has done it twice.

i miss seeing you and talking to you. did you buy anything fun from pottery barn? i just want you to know that even though we don't talk very often anymore, you are on my heart and constantly in my prayers. i hope we can catch up soon!
I'm so glad that carson is okay. What a sweet "thank you" from someone so small. I bet the Doctors were thrilled;-)
