Boone NC

While Jon was away this past week on a pastor's retreat, Carson and I went to Boone NC where my parents rented a cabin for the week in the mountains. We had a wonderful time. It was both relaxing and filled with fun activities for the whole family.









Uncle Sam came the last night that Carson and I were there and we had a fire and smores outside.




Here are some pics from a park date after getting lunch out at an adorable little town nestled in the mountains.




We went to Grandfather Mountain one day. It was rainy and very foggy, but we were still able to enjoy the morning seeing the animals and walking across the bridge at the top of the mountain (a mile above the clouds).
